The New York Athletic Club Wedding
There are just not enough ways to say "I love this wedding". I could look through this one 100 times and never tire of it, it's that good! Veronica & John’s wedding day is full of everything that a classic New York City wedding should be: a stunning lace dress, men in bowties and the sophisticated backdrop of the New York Athletic Club.
The bride and groom started the day getting ready at the NYAC — Veronica in a balcony room overlooking the park, while John spent the morning finishing up last minute details, looking dashing as ever in his classic black tuxedo. The forecasted rain storm held off for exactly the right amount of time for Veronica & John to say their “I Do’s” on the rooftop of the New York Athletic Club– perfect timing!! Situated on the 24th floor, the rooftop offers the perfect way for guests to get a private outdoor setting in the middle of Manhattan and not to mention jaw-dropping views of Central Park below! Afterwards, we headed out and about Central Park for portraits—capturing that quintessential “classic NYC” feeling.
Reception was located just inside the rooftop solarium, surrounding guests with spectacular views of the city everywhere they turned! The space was accented with green florals, glass candle centerpieces, and white wild flowers. Veronica & John wanted the space to speak for itself, so were sure to keep the details classic & minimal. Guests ate, drank, danced, and toasted to the health and happiness of the newlyweds — a perfect end to this celebration at the New York Athletic Club.
Veronica & John, your wedding was picture perfect and truly captured that classic NYC feeling. It was my pleasure to photograph you and your friends and family, and I wish you all the very best. Cheers! XoXo
